Rebero House
Situated on the slopes of Rebero Hill in Kigali, Rwanda, this residential project is thoughtfully integrated into the natural terrain. Comprising three distinct blocks at varying heights, the design makes full use of the site’s gradient to create a seamless balance between form and function. The lower block, positioned along the access road, establishes the public face of the home, accommodating the entry foyer, guest room, and living room. Ascending the slope, the central block contains the dining area and kitchen, carefully offset to frame a bamboo garden that fills the interiors with natural light. The upper block, set back from the road, is dedicated to the bedrooms, offering a quiet and private retreat.
